As part of your onboarding as a TRC Chaperone, you will receive a background check. Before this process can be initiated, you will need to provide your written consent. TRC’s volunteer screening and training process is designed to keep clients safe and ensure that as an accepted volunteer you are placed in positions that best fit your skills and expectations.
As a TRC Chaperone, you will represent your sponsoring agency throughout the community. In some cases, clients will interact with TRC Chaperones more often than staff members, making your role is just as critical to each client’s experience.
